Mr Dennis Silungwe

Dennis Silungwe attended the University of Zambia (UNZA) where he obtained BSc.Ed (Physics) in 2008 and MSc (Physics) in 2017. His research was based on the computational modelling of the electronic and structural properties of chalcopyrite-type semiconductors and platinum group metal chalcogenides. In 2018 he attended the Development in Africa with Radio Astronomy (DARA) training at UNZA and HartRAO in South Africa. In 2018 after the DARA training he was the team leader for the Shooting Stars project which was sponsored by DARA to help popularize astronomy in Zambia. He joined the Copperbelt University (CBU) in 2019. Currently he is working on his PhD work on supernova remnants.
