Dr. Shoge Mansurat has a PhD in Organic Chemistry and specializes mainly on Natural Product Chemistry. She had MSc in Organic Chemistry, Post Graduate Diploma in Education and BSc in Chemistry. She belongs to different Professional bodies such as the Royal Society of Chemistry, Chemical Society of Nigeria, Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria, Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World and the Society for Underutilized legumes. She had a Certificate of Merit/Award in Essential Differential Calculus for Science and Technology Students (Mathematics Competition organized by Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna) and also an award for her participation in the 1st International Conference organized by the Faculty of Science, Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna, Nigeria. She lectures Organic Chemistry, Heterocyclic Chemistry, Applied Spectroscopy, Natural Product Chemistry amongst others. She is currently the Head of Chemistry Department at Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna.
